This class will inform the practitioner about the wide range of
integrative uses for laboratory data in Traditional Oriental Medicine.
Subjects discussed during this course will include CBC, thyroid panel,
hormone panel and more. Focus will be placed on the clinical applications
of TCM from making an accurate diagnosis and choosing a treatment
principle to acupuncture and herbal prescriptions which will enhance
a patient's existing medical protocol.

Dr. Wen will present a two-part lecture on the use of TCM for patients
with cancer. He will cover topics ranging from the classical TCM
perspective of cancer to the latest research and clinical application
regarding cancer care. The most distinctive feature of this class
is that it is filled with practical and clinically useful information
delivered with a case-oriented approach. Find out when and how to
incorporate TCM, what are the red flags, what are the suitable indications,
when to avoid using herbs, how to modify your treatment, and what
to expect after treatment. Dr. Wen will also discuss specific treatment
for side effects from chemotherapy and radiation.

This lecture will discuss the basic pattern in most autoimmune disease:
kidney deficiency and blood stagnation. Through a case by case approach,
Dr. Wen will demonstrate and deliver practical clinical information
such as detailed TCM diagnosis, treatment principle, herb formula,
acupuncture and dietary recommendations. Common conditions such as
lupus, RA and MS will be discussed in detail.

Professional Case Review with Dr.Yvonne Farrell, DAOM, LAc, is ongoing
with new Monday night groups forming this January. The group will
meet once a month for six months. 3 CEU's per class. Students may

a drop in basis. Please note that drop-in's cannot be guaranteed
